MY STORY
Helping people heal and improve their health is a passion I inherited. My grandfather was a pharmacist
and owned his pharmacy and my dad earned his Masters and Doctorate of Pharmaceutics and later a professorship while teaching at 2 different universities. He earned world-wide recognition for his sterilization procedures which brought many people from other countries to study under him. He also co-authored several pharmaceutical textbooks.
Being healthy was always important to me on some level, but when various symptoms arose, and wanting my 5 children to be healthy, I began paying more attention. Doctors said my issues were simply stress and to relax more. While good advice, it wasn't the answer. So my search began in alternative health. I was a busy mom and also, having earned my B.S. degree in music education and piano I was teaching many students, composing music, a church pianist and hosting many recitals and competitions. I loved all of this but I was pushing myself too much and one day it seemed it all fell apart. Eventually I learned that I had weakened my adrenals so was experiencing the symptoms of adrenal fatigue.
My eldest son was begging me to co-own a health store in Atlanta since we were moving back to Atlanta and he was studying nutrition at Life College. I didn't think I could do this given my health issues, but I forged ahead and it turned out to be such a great gift. I had so much information to study and as a result I was able to help many customers as well as myself. But one thing I learned during my research was that health had to be addressed in all dimensions: emotional, mental, spiritual as well as physical, it's just that when physical it gets our attention. I co-owned the store with him for 10 years until I was guided to step out and expand my work that included all of the dimensions of a being.
After working with a coaching/speaking company for a few years I had to step away from them due to their unethical behavior that had surfaced. I became a certified life coach, certified speaker, an author and angel practitioner. As I stepped out to do my own work I became aware of angelic presence around me every day, and soon I was able to hear and see them, receiving much guidance from them. They guided me to open a healing center called Where Miracles Happen, which took 7 years to manifest into reality. 13 practitioners worked with me in the center. I offered 3 certified trainings which attracted many individuals from all over our country. Many clients came through our door for all the practitioners, and we were helping people and changing lives.
Then the 2009 economic crash happened, making it necessary to close the center in 2010. I moved to another area and kept my center open, operating from my home, on Zoom, and over the phone. This way people world-wide had access to my center - all was in divine order!
Every step I took prepared me for the next step and were often steps that caused a lot of fear being it was uncharted territory. But I did keep moving forward and was the 3rd generation focusing on health. My eldest son still owns and operates the All About Health store with great success and his sons are now working with him making it 5 generations focusing on health. My eldest daughter co-owns the 2nd store and her daughter will be working in the store as well. You just don't know the paths your life has the potential to take - the possibilities are endless!
Every day is a gift for which I am grateful. My desire is always to help others, like you, understand how everything in your life experiences has a purpose, but also how to use them for your benefit as you step into the next experience.
