Pet Energy Tag: Joint Therapy

This Pet Tag energetically addresses swollen joints, painful connective tissue, sprains, strains and injuries. If used in time it could prevent degenerative joint disease.

Signs and Symptoms of a Dog or Cat in pain:

Cats are much better at disguising signs of pain than Dogs, but the signs are similar. Remember a Cat may still purr; even when it is in severe pain.

Pet pain can take many forms from mild to severe, dull aches to sharp pain. Dogs and Cats cannot tell us with words when they hurt so it is important to look for certain signs:

Trouble getting up and down
Slow or stiff when first getting up
Trouble climbing stairs
Joint swelling
Limping or favoring a leg by frequently holding it off the ground
Acting lethargic and sleeping more. Cats will try to hide in a cupboard.

Joint pain and stiffness is one of the most common ailments in dogs, and while it is often associated with older, large-breed dogs, it can also affect younger dogs and cats. Old injuries that are continually aggravated by the animal’s inability to avoid the repeated strain on the injured parts, and hereditary conditions such as hip problems, can lead to Arthritis.

While each pet is different this tag could provide quick relief of the symptoms such as stiffness, limping, inflammation, and pain. At the beginning of the therapy a Pain Relief Tag could also be used to speed up the pain relief.

The Joint Support Tag has the similar beneficial effects as Glucosamine and Chondroitin. Along with a healthy diet, weight management, and low impact exercise this Tag can help slow down or prevent the onset of the illness and also prevent the onset of Arthritis.

Early prevention is most important, so we suggest middle aged pets use the Joint Support Tag for one month once or twice a year for health maintenance; even if they do not have any symptoms.

Sheila's Tips: Please check out the Arthritis Tag information to be sure the problem has not progressed to Arthritis.

Here are some tips to ease your pet’s joint pain:

A healthy diet for weight management. Joint pain is more of a problem in obese pets. Excess weight can put stress on joints and reduce mobility.
A little exercise—strenuous exercise can cause damage to their joints, but light exercise can strengthen muscles and ligaments.
A soft but supportive bed to lie on can help make your pet more comfortable.
Ensure that your pet is in a warm environment by placing the bed near a source of heat and away from drafts as cold, damp weather can cause flare ups.

The Pet Therapy Tags will complement any Alternative or Conventional Therapy
